I am a documentary filmmaker with international experience for about 15 years. I started working in various capacities, news reporting, documentary and editor at the Nigerian Television Authority. I produced human interest stories also especially that which pertains to the most vulnerable group; women and children. Am passionate to use the platform I have to be a voice to the voiceless as well as educate, inform and entertain people.

Grace Oyenubi got her masters from the acclaimed UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. As a Berkeley graduate, she co-produced and co-directed the short film “Forced” focusing on survivors of rape, abduction and displacement of victims of the Boko Haram insurgency in her home country, Nigeria. That film was nominated for the 2018 Student Academy Award and the David L Woper IDA Student Award and has been selected by various festivals including RiverRun International Film Festival and Oakland Short Film Festival.
A MasterCard Fellow, Grace is also a grantee of the International Women Media Fund and a Berkeley Film Foundation Grantee. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and International Documentary Association.
Has print, online, television and radio journalism experience. Enjoys cooking, traveling to new places, cultures, lifestyle, politics, and anything that really has to do with people. Grace is currently working as an Associate Producer with the Award-winning Documentary Filmmaker Dawn Porter.
